Department of Political Science was started in the year 2012. Since then department offering MA PG Course of two years under semester scheme (4 semesters), total intake 30+10(payment). Eligibility for the admission is, a candidate should possess BA Degree with Political Science as one of the optional with 50% of marks in aggregate and also 50% of marks in optional (40% in case of SC/ST & Cat-I and 45% for OBC candidates) subject obtained from any recognized university. This department striving to impart Political Education to the women students in this part of the state. The department had organised two national seminars, two state level seminars, number of special lectures and other curricular and extra-curricular activities.
