Department of Kannada
Department of Kannada has established in 2003. This Department Runs MA in Kannada, PG Diploma in Translation, M.Phil and Ph.D Courses. 400 hundred Students passed out in PG and 20 Students awarded in M.Phil Degree, 34 Students awarded Ph.D. Many students appointed as a Teachers and Lecturers and other Educational Institution and Government Departments.
MA Kannada in Vijayapur Main Campus, other than it is started in Sindhanur, Mandya PG Centres and Bailhongal, Kalaburagi, Bidar and Jamkhandi Degree Colleges.
3 Permanent Teaching Staff are in Kannada Department. 7 Gold Medals has established and available of Computer Lab and Digital Class Room. Mundaragi Jagadguru Shree Annadanishwar Sharana Sahitya mattu samskruti Peetha is established in 2017. It is being coordinated through the department.
- To prepare the Students of our Department to become suitable for Kannada Language, Literatures, Literary Criticism.
- To prepare the Students of our Department competent for Self Employment by training them in Communicative Skills, Soft Skills, & Personality Development.
- To prepare the Students of our Department fit for Leadership by giving them exposure to interdisciplinary subjects.
- To expertise Kannada Language and Literature
- To aware Mother land - Language and culture
- To Develop Teaching Skills.
