A digital library was also established in the Jnana Shakti campus in 2010-11. There are 21 computers. Internet facilities for accessing online databases are available in Jnanashakti campus. Karnataka State Women’s university library is one among the first in the state to be included in the National Knowledge Network under the programme of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology providing 1 gbps broad band in the new campus. Through this virtual learning centre the registered users of the University can have access to online e-resources provided by e-Shodhsindhu of Inflibnet and also to the subscribed e-content of the library like emerald and i-scholar. Apart from this, the whole world of Open Access content in the form of e-journals, e-books, e-thesis etc including Open Educational Resources, is thrown open to the academic community.
